BREC Pools Present Dive-In Movies

Brec is now hosting what is called a “dive-in movie”, a great way to spend time with your kids while having fun and cooling off…

“BREC invites families and friends to its pools to view “Dive-In Movies” this summer at several parks around East Baton Rouge Parish.

Swimmers will enjoy a cool dip as they view aquatic movies on our gigantic outdoor projection screen. Free popcorn and drinks will be available to patrons at each movie. The fee to swim in the pool is $3 per person, and the movies are free and will be shown from 7 - 11 p.m.

On Saturday, June 21, the dive-in movie will be “Surf’s Up” at Jefferson Highway Pool, 8133 Jefferson Highway. “Shark’s Tale” will be shown on Friday, June 27 at Howell Park, 5509 Winbourne Ave. “Surf’s Up” will be featured again on Friday, July 25 at Barringer Road Park, 7401 Barringer Rd.
